Wenzl’s Collision Center offers FREE estimates Monday through Friday 7:30am-5:00pm.

We understand the hassle, stress and inconveniences that are associated with an accident. We want to do everything we can to remove these annoyances from the process.

Our Estimating system and technology allow us to complete an accurate and efficient estimate. We work with all Insurance companies. 

If you have a problem getting to us during regular business hour please call as we can make arrangements to help. 

The estimating process is the initial step in the repair process, and generally the most important in preparation for a timely repair.  We take our time to inspect the entire vehicle.   Usually we can have you back on the road, scheduled in with an accurate repair plan in 30 minutes. 

If the vehicle is “non-drivable” we will have you leave it with us.  Then we have two choices.  We can then either do some temporary repairs that get you back on the road until the rest of the repairs can be complete… OR we do complete disassembly and start the repairs the day the vehicle arrives.

How Auto Body Repair Estimates Are Made

Based on the year, make, and model of your vehicle, along with the specific areas of damage including the severity of the damage, collision repair shops will provide you with a general estimate of what it will cost for them to fix your vehicle. Their estimation is based on a variety of factors including:

• The cost and availability of parts

• The time it takes to complete the necessary repairs

• The complexity of the safety requirements for parts

• The cost to fabricate replacement parts that are no longer available

• The materials parts are made from

Hidden Damage:

Some damage cannot be seen from the outside.  Depending on the severity of damage done to your vehicle, your auto body repair estimates may be somewhat accurate, but may not be exactly accurate.

For example, if the damage appears to be only external, and once inside the technician discovers electrical or mechanical damage that could not be seen from the outside, your costs may increase. While technicians are highly trained and skilled individuals, there may be times when they cannot see everything from the outside.

Many experienced technicians, however, can and will inform you of the potential for unseen mechanical and electrical damage that may only be discovered once inside.
